Kolkata Designer Boutique Sasya Launched Exotic Festive Collection; Exciting Colours for the coming Festivities

Sasya recently unveiled the festive collection of designers Anju Narain, Sounia Gohil and Pallavi Jaipur, Anita Kanwal and Expressionist by Jaspreet at their Shakespeare Sarani store. Designer Anju Narain was present to interact with the media and speak about the collection.

Speaking about the festive collection that Anju Narain showcased at the store, the designer highlighted that it was a blend of the traditional with the contemporary. This was done keeping in mind the changing needs of the people for festive dresses. “I pay tribute to my roots in a way. I hail from Lucknow and Chikankari, Zardozi and Mukaish can be largely seen in the dresses that I have designed so far for the festive collection. I have incorporated the traditional art work into modern silhouettes” said the designer.


The color scheme of the dresses has vibrant colors like red, orange, pink and yellow. Green and violet have also been incorporated in the color scheme so as to meet to the growing tastes of the customers. “Despite the change in the mindset of the people about color schemes, vibrant colors dominate the festive season. Hence the prominence of red, orange and pink” added the designer.

The collection consists of suits, lehengas, kurtas and saris. Stylish kurtas with stylish stoles or palazzo pants are also included in the collection to cater to the needs of the style conscious customers.

The price range of the dresses in this festive collection starts from seven to eight thousand rupees.
